"I Never Found The Game Easy"

Graham Thorpe was England’s best and most reliable batsman from the mid-1990s to 2005.
He made a hundred on debut against Australia but was criticised for scoring too many flashy 50s. He changed his style, making career-defining hundreds at Bridgetown, Lahore and Colombo. Then his marriage broke down in 2002, he took his problems into the dressing room and had to leave the side for 14 months. On his return he scored a hundred at The Oval against South Africa.
